Welcome to Goldberg Legal Search. A full-service recruiting company that offers full-time, direct hire attorney placement solutions. We strive to match the BEST attorneys with the RIGHT business or law firm.
A wise person once said, 'If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.' Fortunately, one of GLS's core principles is that we love recruiting. We love pairing a fantastic candidate with a fantastic employer. Our passion is contagious.
Goldberg Legal Search prides itself on understanding our clients' needs by offering curated solutions for each search, not a cookie-cutter one-size-fits-all approach. Goldberg Legal Search has the training and education of a large agency with the hunger and speed to market of a boutique. Truly the best of both worlds.
From in-house Fortune 500 companies to AmLaw 100 law firms and everything in between, we listen to companies and attorneys in order to identify long-term solutions, not just a quick fix.
As an attorney and recruiter, we pride ourselves on our empathy and the ability to relate. GLS can empathize, because we have been there. Having worked with and at small shops big shops and with great managers and not so great managers, an ability to relate to who you are working with is crucial in understanding the best match moving forward in your career. Attorneys are always calculating and trying to figure out plans B, C and D. When it comes to your career, shoot for Plan "A." We expect any opportunity presented to a potential candidate to be a step in their logical career progression and to last for many years.
Too many recruiters push opportunities on the wrong attorneys for a quick buck. GLS is interested in the long haul. This is our passion. GLS strives to build long-lasting and meaningful relationships. Hiring a seasoned recruiter who understands the importance of lasting solutions, rather than quick fixes, is essential in making sure your hires last. We are not only finding you job opportunities. We work side by side guiding attorneys through the entire interview process. From intake, to explaining the role, to the interview, to post-interview, to resigning from their current role and post-employment. Think of GLS as a legal conciliary or rabbi who wants to help both employee and employer succeed in a long-lasting career marriage.
With nearly 20 years of legal experience, GLS's Founder, Jason Goldberg, has placed approximately 200 associate, partner and of counsel level attorneys in various firms and organizations, such as in-house general counsel at an international cutting-edge bio-tech firm, to policy-holder side complex coverage litigation roles at Chambers ranked boutiques, and AmLaw 5 corporate M&A positions.
After growing up north of Boston, Jason attended New York University. After graduating in 2005, Jason worked in sales and marketing at Sports Illustrated before attending Brooklyn Law School. For four years Jason served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Brooklyn D.A.'s office before moving to South Florida with his family.
